LOW SLOPE ROOFING
Low slope roofing is almost level, so it requires the use of different types of materials than steeper roofing. The rolled roofing we use features a granular surface with the aesthetic look and feel of a traditional shingle roof, but there is a three-foot-wide closed roll, which can withstand the backup of ice during the harsh winter months better than a shingle roof can.
Homeowners looking at building additions such as porches or overhangs will often choose low-slope roofing because it does not require them to modify their original roof. Building a new roof with the same type of slope as the old roof would require remodeling the old roof's framing, which can be more costly.
